New legislation in England, coming into force as soon as 2022, means that Electric car chargers will be required by law in all new houses and office builds in England. The EV infrastructure grant for staff and fleets will give money towards the infrastructure businesses need for charge points as well as the installation. The EV Chargepoint grant for landlords gives financial support to landlords and other entities to buy and install electric vehicle chargepoints at residential or commercial properties in the UK. It provides up to 75% of the costs towards the purchase and installation of a chargepoint socket.
